The Natural Beauty of Oak Flooring (NOT YELLOW)

Project: The Natural Beauty of Oak Flooring (NOT YELLOW)

Living with nature brings cleanliness and harmony to your home. The client stressed that they wanted a natural looking Oak that was not yellow like some Oak floors.

This is a French Oak and mixed grade ABCD finished with a natural oil. The finishing process we use, ensures that the board is fully sealed and by using the professional cleaning and maintenance solutions that we provide makes all of this easy.

White oak after finishing with natural oils will look more yellow than French Oak. The natural oils we use react with the natural tannins in the wood to bring out the beauty in the grain and swirly knots.

NOTE: These images are from one batch of the TW E730, other batches may vary and have more knots and colour variation. Timber is a natural product and each tree is an individual, like we are.

There are hundreds of species of Oak, such as Quercus Alba which is white American Oak from the Appalachian mountains; Quercus Mongolica which grows in north east Asia and various European Oak species from Quercus Robur to Quercus Patraea. We manufacture from all species where there is a full chain of custody and we can certify it as FSC 100%.
