Camden Goods Yard

Project: Camden Goods Yard
Client: St George Berkeley Homes

Camden Goods Yard is a place with a fascinating history.

Once a brownfield site, it’s now on its way to becoming a thriving residential hub, thanks to the vision and expertise of Berkeley Homes. Turning an old industrial site into a lively community of modern apartments is no small feat, but Berkeley Homes has done it with style. We’re thrilled to have played a part in bringing this project to life.

When St George, part of Berkeley Homes, approached us, they had a clear goal: they needed a bespoke flooring solution that would fit perfectly into their overall interior design. They weren’t just looking for a floor; they were looking for the floor. They needed something that would enhance the character of the space and make every apartment feel special.

The Journey to the Perfect Floor

Our journey with Camden Goods Yard started with many conversations and creativity. St George had a specific vision in mind, and we were excited to bring it to life. They wanted a floor that was warm, inviting, and full of character but also durable enough to handle the daily life of busy homes.

We started by creating several samples, trying to capture the exact look and feel they wanted. After a few iterations, we hit the mark: a light-fumed herringbone floor with a subtle lime finish. This design added just the right amount of warmth and character, with gentle variations in tone that made each piece unique.

Once the sample was signed off, we sent it back to our factory to guarantee every plank we produced would match the sample perfectly. Consistency was key. Within six weeks, we had the finished product ready to go, and it was delivered right on time for the completion of the marketing suite.

A Warm Welcome to Camden

The marketing suite at Camden Goods Yard is where potential residents get their first real taste of the development, and we’re proud of the role our flooring plays in that experience.

As you step into the marketing suite, you’re immediately greeted by the warm tones of our TW-E910 light-fumed herringbone floor. The subtle liming adds depth and character, making the floor feel rich and textured, yet soft and welcoming. It’s a floor that invites you in, making you feel at home before you’ve even seen the apartments.

The practicality of the floor matches its beauty. It’s built to last, designed to handle everything from casual strolls to bustling open house events. Looking Forward

Camden Goods Yard is more than just a development; it’s a new chapter for the area, blending the old with the new. It’s been a pleasure to be part of this transformation. Working with St George and Berkeley Homes has been a fantastic experience, and we’re excited to see the community take shape.

This floor isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about creating a space that people will love coming home to. It’s about building a foundation (literally!) for memories, comfort, and everyday life. We’re proud to have contributed to a project that’s making such a positive impact, turning a former industrial site into a beautiful place for people to live, grow, and thrive.
